All styles are closed-channel stitched, with the welt seam neatly concealed within the sole for a seamless finish. Every perforation is punched by hand and backed with contrasting leather, true to the original replicated design. All models, with the exception of the "GUTBUCKET," feature six eyelets—a historically accurate detail common in American footwear of the early to mid-20th century.
Each pair of co-respondent shoes is built on a hand-grade sole and features a sculpted fiddle-back waist—a hallmark of traditional bespoke shoemaking. The sole is cut from oak-bark tanned Bakers leather, sourced from one of England’s oldest surviving tanneries, prized for its density and durability. The bevelled waist follows the natural contour of the arch and instep, creating a clean, refined silhouette. The heel is hand-stacked, hand-pitched, and finished entirely by hand to bespoke standards.

We use only the finest leather from trusted British suppliers,including A.A. Crack & Sons of Northamptonshire and J. & F.J. Baker & Co. of Devon.
A.A. Crack, established in 1867, has long stood at the centre of Northampton’s renowned leather trade, supplying premium materials to Britain’s leading shoemakers. J. & F.J. Baker & Co., the country’s last remaining traditional oak bark tannery, has been proudly family-run in Devon since 1862, preserving centuries-old methods of leather production. Where possible, we also incorporate carefully selected vintage hides to ensure each pair carries unique character and enduring authenticity.
The vamp and quarters of each pair of our spectator shoes are constructed from a unique leather sourced directly by ourselves—chosen specifically for its exceptional durability. Unlike many other spectator shoes, this leather resists cracking, is stain-resistant, and easy to maintain, ensuring both longevity and lasting elegance.
